Service Project and Laser Tag
12:00-5:00 p.m., December 5, 2009

Join the Trailblazers on December 5, 2009 for a public service work project at Camp Cinco, followed by an afternoon of Laser Tag at Laser Quest Houston!

The Trailblazers will kick-off the day at 12:00pm by meeting at YMCA Camp Cinco in Cinco Ranch. We’ll then start work on one or more of the community service projects currently underway at the sanctuary. Depending on the weather, number of participants, and interest of the group, we’ll likely either build picnic tables or a similar physical project. The work session will last from 12:00pm – 3:00pm.

The entrance to Camp Cinco is located just South of Creech Elementary located on Mason Road South of Fry Road.

After a morning of community service at the wildlife sanctuary, we’ll break before reconvening at Laser Quest Houston at 4:00pm. The Trailblazers have reservations for two Laser Tag sessions in the Laser Quest Arena. Each session will last approximately 20 minutes with a 20 minute intermission between games. The remainder of the time in the facility will be for playing arcade games, recovering from the exhausting day, and visiting with our fellow Trailblazers. Anyone who wants to participate in additional Laser sessions can do so by paying the single game fee while at the facility.

The cost for the afternoon of Laser Tag will be $18.00/person and will include 2 sessions. Friends and family are welcome to hang-out in the arcade at no charge, but anyone entering the Laser Arena must be a paid participant of the event. For a preview of what the Laser Quest is all about, visit their national website at www.laserquest.com.

Mark your calendars and join us on December 5!

Registration information will be released on Monday, November 14, 2009
